Post 16 and GCSE Results 2022
Congratulations to all our students who have received A Level, vocational and GCSE results over the past couple of weeks. We are delighted that through a difficult two-year period, during which young people have been challenged through the impact of the pandemic, they have risen to the challenge and achieved tremendous results. Our Year 13s at S6C and Sarum Academy have gained the grades they need for university, apprenticeship and other destinations. Our GCSE students at Sarum Academy, The Trafalgar School and Wyvern St Edmund’s have also been rewarded for their hard work; it was no small challenge this year to be sitting a full set of public examinations when their counterparts for the two previous years had not done so. How lovely it was to see so many happy young people collecting their results.
Thank you to our parents for the support they have given their sons and daughters and also to the staff in each of the schools who have worked tirelessly to ensure that students gain the grades they deserve through a year that has been nowhere near ‘normal’ in terms of education.
We wish all our Year 13 leavers the very best as they embark on the next stage of their education and employment journey and similarly wish Year 11s well. We look forward to the return of many of our Year 11s to an MLP sixth form in September. Well done to everyone!
